A page from my most recent sketchbook. My personal work usually features less refined drawings and different textures. This page was inspired by the phrase “Fundamentally, all we are is skin and bone, and that’s all we’ll ever be”.
Figure studies and anatomical drawings from an online class.
An observational drawing of my bathroom.
A character design sheet that I drew to conceptualise a comic based on my everyday life during the pandemic.
More recent page from my current sketchbook, a sort of iconographic mood board for the previously mentioned comic.
For my foundation course, we were briefed to make a 148cm long concertina book about a story that had no words. This is part of my neutral storyboard for the project.
My final outcome from this project. I used two layers of screen printing as required by the brief.
Another project from my foundation course, I was tasked with creating a 30 second to three minute long animation based on a legend or myth. I chose the story of Medusa and produced a 2 minute long video with narration. Above is the storyboard I made with loose notes about the characters, locations and timings of the shots. Below are two snippets from the final animation.
