My concept design work focuses largely on colour, lighting and texture. I enjoy creating unique perspective and highly detailed scenes to create immersive atmospheres.. Workflow- Soup's Room<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

My most recent piece is Soup’s Room. When approaching pieces like this, I like to map out my initial ideas digitally, using looser brush strokes to get the gist of the lighting and atmosphere- next using my sketchbook to get a more detailed sense of the structure. Given the incredibly detailed nature of the piece, I opted to create my line-art and initial value map first in greyscale. Exploring alternative lighting was important here because of the many light sources I couldn’t show vividly in the sun.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
